Bring On The Bright

We could really use a little bit of sunshine in Pittsburgh right now. Since traveling isn't really in the cards, we can bring in the juicy scent of citrus and more benefits through simmer pots, lemon detox water, and air spritzes!


If you squint your eyes and take a deep breath, it's almost like an afternoon on the Amalfi coast. Almost.


Lemon Detox Water

Add a boost of Vitamin C to your daily glasses of water! Drinking lemon water helps get your digestive system moving, especially hot lemon water when you wake up in the morning.


Mix up your flavors by experimenting with adding grapefruit, cucumbers, mint, lime, strawberries... your skin and body will thank you!


Lemon Lavender Simmer Pot

This natural air freshener flows through the whole house, bringing sunny, energizing vibes with it.


Slice 2 lemons and throw them into a 2-quart pot with 3-4 cups of water. Add fresh lavender sprigs (or substitute rosemary, sage or thyme). Play around with adding cranberries, oranges, and spices like cinnamon, ginger, or clove.


Set your pot to a low simmer and keep an eye on it, adding more water when the levels get low. Enjoy!
